Watch video here: I live in an apartment and installed a second story http://www.amazon.com/review/R3UVSM5DTQ3QAC Swann 2.4GHz wireless which I took from the local hardware store for about a year. I installed to scare off some would-be car thief. I decided to replace it, because one of my receivers went and I replaced it with the standard Astak 2.4GHz wireless receiver. I was with the receiver (w / remote), and so impressed, I thought I would give this camera a try (the swan was verycut and I had to mess with brightness in the software that I use a lot). I use the second receiver to be connected to the TV in my living room. The cameras and receivers are in the same position as if I and the Swan.

These cameras are better than Swann. The video that comes with the contribution made to my PC (I through a wire Roxio RCA to USB connector) and use a freeware program to detect it (debut). There are three walls between your computer and theCameras.

Other posts about poor reception because of Wi-Fi router. I use one, but there are some that appear in my list of wireless networks on my Windows PC. To be honest, they could change their router after installing the Swann one year ago.

Disadvantages: The sound is noisy and has static. I do not use the audio, I used the audio and the Swan, either. This is the reason for my "low" marks. Even in the manual, I discovered that even in low light,Camera switches to black and white. But as you can see from the video, the s / w is not active. There is a wide flood light in my car, which may be the reason. Color 24 / 7 Check it out

Tip: You may need to adjust the antenna to the receiver to receive the minimum static. I found that it moved about 20 degrees in a time when you can see the difference.

It's worth the money. Hope this helps.

This was what I paid ... I just wanted to find wireless cameras and display entry door while working at home. The reception is very poor, based on the comments of manufacture must accept interference from some other transmission equipment. I turned off (unplugged) all around the house, went to several simlar frequency, wireless router, any wireless phone, including all mobile phones, televisions, and disconnect all of the fans with the last test and the use of a simple DVD-monitor device forto see the car in the last race, but it helps ... nothing - the screen still appeared as if you are just an encrypted channel on cable. I'm on the construction of power with great qualities, seemed a very good design in general - not content with this device to provide to all! * If you want to view encrypted image of the front door - This it is.

Perhaps these cameras in use for almost a month. Good for daytime surveillance. Not so much during the night. If you're out some money and endured heavy storms.For not think I can beat.

Every time I see a car, every time you pass through before the signal every time the camera moves to get a ton of static. I have this camera for over a month ago and has literally had me walking on eggshells, no furniture or metal objects between the signal path between the camera and the receiver instead. Get ready to play the aluminum foil and rabbit ears to get the games to come in clear signal, because its bad.

To add to this the night vision is terrible, Istatic random from what I believe to be a neighbor of cell phones, and even during the photo without static quality is not enough, I could see where somebodys face and is certainly someone who would be responsible enough with any type of crime. This camera is basically only good for one thing: a toy. That's it. It shows that when someone is approaching and all. Save your money, yes.
